Sous les Noyers, is ideal for those seeking peace and tranquility in the heart of the Southern French countryside. Landscaped gardens covering 3 acres, a secluded swimming pool and a beautiful view over the vineyards and fields of sunflowers are some of the attractions. The surrounding area is steeped in history and mystery and set in varied, spectacular landscape. A range of sporting and cultural pursuits are available and mountains, beaches and gorges are within easy reach.

Accommodation comprises:
3 bedrooms, all ensuite with wc and shower/bath, can sleep between 2 and 4 people.

Bedrooms 1 & 2 (10’ x 15’ with double bed plus partitioned area Adult sized bunk beds)
Bathroom 1 has shower, Bathroom 2 has bath and shower attachment
Bedroom 3 (9’ x 15’ with two single beds)

A number of restaurants are available in the surrounding villages about 10 minutes away by car.

Restaurant, café and pizzeria in village of Montreal (10 mins by car). Selection of restaurants in the towns of Carcassonne, Limoux, Mirepoix and Castelnaudary - all 20 mins by car.
White-water rafting and kayaking available at Alet les Bains (30 mins away).
Further afield are watersports activities (diving, windsurfing etc) at the beaches of Narbonne and Leucate (just under an hour away). Wildlife park in Sigean 1 hour away. Also in winter: ski-ing, (downhill and cross-country) in the Pyrenees at Axe les Thermes just over an hour from here.

We are also 40 minutes from Rennes le Chateau, the origin of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code. Further south is Puylaurens, the first of the Cathar Castles.
