Vacation Rental Description

This winegrowers house has many character features and is steeped in french tradition. Situated on the edge of a circulade village (the village winds around and up to a peak- the church) it has all the amenities necessary. The house has many original features - log fire, original shutters and floorboards, decorated with traditional french furniture and original fireplaces in 2 of the bedrooms and french linen used as bedding. There are 3 double bedrooms which have traditional french beds and furniture and one of the bedrooms has an additional brass single bed. The pool is situated below the house on a different level giving added privacy and lots of space.A brick bar-b-que is provided and stone table and stools is nearby . There is a table with eight chairs on the terrace overlooking the pool. By the pool there is garden furniture and a parasol. There are 2 bathrooms which includes: 2 showers, 2 toilets, 1 bath etc.

The river Aude is very close by, ample opportunity for fishing, swimming, water sports . The Montagne Noir is very close and in the winter great for skiing. There are plenty of lovely walks and mystical french towns and villages in close proximity. The village itself is 11th century and has an award winning restaurant, hairdressers, supermarket, bakery, post office. There is so much to do that you will never manage it all in one visit! Within 10 minutes drive of the house you have the famous medieval city La Cite towering over the bastide below, the 4 castles of Lastours, the spectacular caves at Limosan and Lac de la Cavayere with it's beaches, mini golf, volleyball, watersports, and O2 adventure park, which is a must for the kids, and adults.
Ryanair fly from Dublin Shannon, Cork, E. Midlands, Gatwick etc the airport is 10 minutes from the house.

A deposit of 25% of the total cost is required at the time of booking, the remainder is due 8 weeks prior to letting.If the cancellation is within the 8 weeks the deposit will be retained. Payment by cheque if possible. £150 breakage deposit is refundable on inspection £40 for cleaning
