Vacation Rental Description
Petites Ecuries offers three 4* luxury fully equipped, self-catered, independent gites that sleeps 4. Located in the middle of a French village. Marseillette is elevated and runs alongside the Canal du Midi and overlooks the Alaric Mountains. Only 20 minutes away from the historic medieval walled city of Carcassonne.
The three gites are named after the horses that used to work the vineyards. While the horses have long gone the stables have been converted to two gites and the owner’s house. The property is on a UNESCO world heritage site and the stables (and chicken shed) have been developed. Come and see for yourself!
We believe that holidays are important and we will do everything we can to make your holiday memorable. All gites are equipped with food essentials (it’s like going to your own home but in a different place) salt, pepper, coffee, wine, beer, dishwasher tablets etc.. Oh and yes a couple of meals in the freezer.
We believe that even Mum deserves a holiday so ask about our prepared meal service. It’s not expensive and allows you to enjoy your day without having to spend time preparing the families food.

Choose from the front or back patio areas to relax over a gin and tonic or some excellent local wine. The front patio overlooks the pool and back overlooks the garden and Canal.
Marseillette is on the D610 between Trebes and Olanzac.
Set on the border of the Corbieres & Minervois wine regions, it’s just 15 minutes from the Medieval Cite de Carcassonne and 45 minutes from the Mediterranean beaches.
It’s a central location makes it the perfect holiday base for exploring the stunning Languedoc region and Carcassonne, Toulouse, Beziers, Narbonne and Limoux. The O2 adventure park might have you shaking in your boots, Mum, but hey the children will love climbing the trees and walking along the ropes 20-30 metres up.
Sigean, an African Wildlife Park is 40 minutes away. Drive through sees all those animals, our favourites the Lions and Bears, they're there right up close and in your face. Love It! After the drive through you can walk around and see the rest of the animals, a great day out.
There are lots of local markets to visit, pick up home grown & local produce. You have Olanzac on Tuesday, Lezignan on Wednesday, Carcassonne on Saturday & Narbonne on Sunday.
