La Fraissinede is set in the grounds of a 18th century Maison de Maitre, in the heart of outstanding countryside, close to outdoor activities. In sight of the foothills of the Pyrenees, our tranquil surroundings offer you comfortable accommodation with spacious rooms.
Set in mature gardens, with an orchard and large secured swimming pool.
Each gite has a private terrace with BBQ.
Being in the heart of the Corbieres wine region, we are surrounded by vineyards, which are all open to visit and taste wine. Especially popular is Chateau Pech Latt, a well renowned organic vineyard, and only a stone's throw away.
The landscape is also scattered with historic ruins of the Cathar castles, and the medieval walled city of Carcassonne should be top of your list.
The nearby village of Lagrasse, recently voted one of France's prettiest villages, has many good restaurants, ceramic and craft shops, and French folk festivals during the summer months.
