The village of Neffies is located halfway between the long sandy beaches of Bas Languedoc and the dramatic Gorges Du Tarn on the edge of the Languedoc National Park. Yet lively Montpellier is only an hour away. With Pezenas on the doorstep.  
 
Within walking distance of the house there are two restaurants in this rural village, a grocers and a newsagent. Yet lively Pezenas is only 10 minutes drive away. Neffies is perfectly located as a starting point for wine tasting tours, biking, walking, and fishing. The beaches and the fish restaurants in Bouziques are a short drive's distance. 
 
 
Set in the heart of a typical Languedoc village, the modern, fully equipped apartment, is on the ground floor and totally self contained. A separate sitting room, plus a dining kitchen equipped with dishwasher, clothes washer, microwave, and everything an enthusiatic cook would need. A private garden and terrace are just outside the sitting room window, which is equipped with a barbeque and chairs for dining outside. 
 
The property is set in a large mature garden (3,000 square metres ) and is particularly suitable for a couple who are looking for a quiet location. The apartment could cope with a baby sleeping in a cot, but is unsuitable for a family of four.  
 
For the colder months, there is a heated indoor swimming pool, protected by a conservatory. 
 
The central heating/air conditioning system is individually controlled by the guests. English television programmes and radio are provided,augmented by a DVD player and Video machine. There is a free hot spot for internet access.  
The paths around the house are gravel, and are easily managed by anyone who needs the assistance of a walking stick or zimmer frame. The bathroom has a wet room, with a shower.  
 
Airports - Montpellier 1 hour - Carcassonne & Perpignan 1hr 30 mins - Beziers ( from Stanstead, Luton & Bristol ) 30 minutes

The two swimming pools are shared with the owners ( a retired couple ). For visitors in the cooler months, the smaller second pool is heated, and protected by a conservatory.

The countryside is a walker's and cyclists paradise.
