This flat is located in a historic area of Paris, built in 1840, at the same time as Gare du Nord and the church across the street : Saint Vincent de Paul. The families who rented it up to now found it most pleasant and easily accessible. The Gare du Nord area is has many transport facilities : metro, trains, taxis and buses. Trains from London arrive at Gare du Nord (3 minutes walk from the flat), as well as trains from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport. There is a big market nearby, opened everyday except monday. Two excellent restaurants, with many british clients are located on the grund floor of the building ("chez Michel") and the other one 30 meters away ("Casimir"). It's a 10 minutes walk to Montmartre and 20 minutes to Les Halles and the Seine, as well as the big department stores Printemps and Galeries Lafayette. If you come by car, there is a car park on Square Franz Listz opposite the church.
