The apartment is on third floor (no elevator, yet the steps are soft), then the apartment itself is on 3 levels. On 1st level are 4 bedrooms and a bathroom, on 2nd level are the kitchen, livingroom and dining room and a shower room, and the 5th Master bedroom (bed 180x210) is on 3rd level with the access to the terrace and Jacuzzi).
As we live in this apartment, it is very very fully equipped with top quality furniture and you can use everything we leave in it. We offer a welcome basket with fresh fruits, milk, orange juices, ... and a bottle of Champagne, coffee on our Nespresso machine, tea, basic grocery items , and final and daily cleaning (saturday and sunday included, and Jean-Marie, our butler, can answer any specific need or question), fine sheets, soft towels, etc... There is a very full collection of books (French and English mainly), CDs and DVDs that you can watch on a big cinema screen, toys for kids, and any equipment you should need for them. We can also organize a baby-sitting.
The appartment is provided with an eMac computer and a free high-speed internet access (wi-fi and ethernet). There is a ping-pong table in free access in the garage, a fitness room and a sauna.
Our small private building (3 apartments only) is totally secure.
We can also make a first groceries shopping with a list of your own, help you book a restaurant or a show, put you in touch with musicians for a private concert at home, Parisian travel agencies specialized in private visits of Paris, etc...
The apartment is located in the 14th district of Paris which is both residential and animated. All kind of shops (delicatessens, supermarkets, bio market, clothes ... ) and facilities (pharmacy, post office, metro, bus, taxi, brasseries, cinema, ...) are within a short walking distance. The street is very calm since we are in a "green area" which means that cars run at a low speed and above all are redirected towards main axes. The apartment is thus perfectly quiet. Our street opens on the avenue du Général Leclerc, a big avenue which goes up into the heart of Paris. 400m from the apartment is the beautiful Parc Montsouris where you can have a walk, jog in the morning, there are playgrounds for children, etc...
You can catch public transports down our street. There are metro line 4, the only one in Paris which crosses every other line, so that you are sure not to take more than 30 minutes to go anywhere in Paris, many busses (28, 38, 68, 62, 88), the brand new Tramway (T3), and at a 10 minutes walk when you go through the Parc Montsouris, you can catch the RER B. They are remarcably practical and complete, especially the busses, since most of the time, they directly lead, without having to make transfers, to the main points of interest in Paris.
For example, you can directly reach the Eiffel Tower, Le quartier Latin, La sorbonne, le Panthéon, le jardin du Luxembourg, la Sainte Chapelle and la Conciergerie, la Cathédrale Notre-Dame, l'Hôtel de ville, Beaubourg (centre Georges Pompidou)/les halles, le Louvre, le musée d'Orsay, le Grand Palais et les Champs Elysées, all the "grands magasins" (les Galleries Lafayette, le Printemps et Le Bon Marché), l' Opéra Garnier, Les Invalides, ...
We leave plenty of information, tips, maps of Paris and of the area, guides, public transports information, and indications on how to reach the main places of interest in the city from the apartment.
