The house is a two-story one bedroom furnished townhouse located one block from in the heart of the town. It has an internal wooden staircase leading from the living room to the large loft bedroom and bathroom equipped with clothes washer. The kitchen is off the living room down stairs with W/C under staircase. There is a long stone hallway that leads to the ample garden in the back. The house is furnished with local antiques and is decorated in blue, red, green and yellow.

The town of Pontlevoy is home to an annex of the University of So. Mississippi, and hosts cultural events, such as music festivals and fairs. It is near many Tourraine wine-tasting vineyards, Roman ruins and the historical town of Montrichard on the river Cher. Chennonceaux, Blois, Amboise, Loches and many other historical chateaux are also nearby. The Loire Valley is a French historian's paradise! If one wishes to visit Paris, it is accessible by train or car, and can easily be a day trip since it is less than two hours away.

The house is simply decorated with antiques of the area, and is primitive yet comfortable for extended stays. One truly feels as though one is living amongst the French as they live in utter country simplicity.

Low Season Price : €200 High Season Price : €300 per Week
I prefer to rent by the month. The house is set up to rent for longer stays, to appreciate the local flavor. I am asking 700 Euros per month off season and 1000 Euros per month, high season. I require a refundable deposit of an extra month's rent in advance.
