Vacation Rental Description
The « gîte des Orfeuilles » are two charming houses, ideal for a holiday let, located in the Loire Valley, and close to the most famous of the Châteaux de la Loire. 
This characteristic gîte is a former farm, made up of the farmhouse and barn, in calm, wooded countryside, 1 kilometre from the nearest houses. 
These very comfortable and spacious houses have been splendidly renovated in keeping with their original style. You can spend your holidays far from everyday stress and noise. 
THE HOUSE  
The kitchen is a huge room with numerous cupboards and a stone worktop. It is very well-equipped: 6-plate glass-ceramic hob, 1 oven, 1 fridge/freezer, 1 micro-wave, 1 dishwasher, 1 toaster, 1 coffee-machine, various electrical appliances, and a complete set of cooking equipment (frying pans, saucepans), crockery and cutlery. 
The dining room, with two rectangular tables, opens onto the kitchen. 
The sitting room with stone fireplace (logs provided) and 8-watt cell phone to be used with the the chip from the tenant's mobile phone. The sitting room is comfortably furnished with sofas and chairs, books, games, television, DVD, a music system  
UPSTAIRS 
Sequoias has a large double bed, a desk, a cupboard and two chairs with an en-suite bathroom with bath, basin, heated towel rail and w.c. 
Cedres has a large double bed, a desk, two chairs and a cupboard. 
Fresnes has twin beds, a desk, a cupboard and two chairs. 
These two rooms share a bathroom with basin, bath, shower, heated towel-rail, hair-drier and wc.  
The Barn 
Boiler room and laundry with washing-machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board, and all the cleaning equipment: vacuum cleaner, squeegee, floor cloth, bucket, broom. 
The Barn 
There are three bedrooms in total in the cottage and a suite of two communicating bedrooms with a bathroom, in the barn by the pool, for those who prefer a little peace and privacy.  
Acacias has twin beds, a bunk bed, a desk and two cupboards, ideal for children. 
Charmes : has a large double bed, a desk, two armchairs and a cupboard. 
The bathroom communicates directly with Acacias and Charmes bedrooms, and has two washbasins, bath, large shower, hair-drier, heated towel-rail and wc. From the terrace, looking over a wide cutting giving onto a lake - catch a glimpse of game coming to their evening watering hole. 
The swimming pool measures 10 x 5 metres, with large steps and a shallow end for children, under-water lighting, an alarm which meets safety standards, and a solar pool cover. 
There is a shelter for your car, and a gravelled path leading to the houses. 
The courtyard is trimmed with flowers and aromatic herbs 
Behind the barn, sheltered from the wind, you can enjoy the sun around the heated swimming pool on a large terrace with sun beds and teak pool-side furniture. 
 
Children  
We have taken « children without worries » into account. No nick-nacks or inconvenient objects, a safe pool and lots of space for playing to their heart's content. 
A wooden barn will remind you of a tobacco drying house. 
In this verdant setting, at the edge of the forest, there is an incredible view and exceptional calm.

      High Season Price: €1,500 per Week
         

    Extra for fuel heating depending on the individual meter in the gîte. Free supply of wood for the fireplaces. In addition and compulsory: Cleaning at the end of your stay: 140 € In addition and compulsory: Sheets and other linen: 14 €/per person (The beds are made up before your arrival) If you would like to book, a furnished rental agreement will be sent to you, as well as a detailed description of the house. A deposit of € 1000 is requested upon the Inventory of Fixtures, which is paid back within 15 days following your departure. You are required to take out holiday rental insurance, to cover the damages for which you are liable. Such insurance is often included in your standard house insurance. We suggest you enquire at your own insurance broker. Once the final rental agreement has been signed by the owners, we shall send you as detailed map of how to get to the estate.
