Crevant is situated in very rural countryside with sloping landscapes, pastures and lakes in the south of the Berry region. There are many public footpaths where you will be alone except for the local farm animals. The stars in the night skies are in abundance.
There are many beautiful churches, castles and old cities within easy access by road
Activities:
In the summer there are frequent music events in romantic small churches and other local venues. In June and July there are the Fêtes Romantiques at Nohant and the Rencontres Internationals of Chopin. In August at Saint Chartier the annual international folk festival is much loved. Further there are many gardens to visit; for example, the convent gardens of Orsan and the picturesque gardens of Drulon. There are an abundance of castles, brocantes, weekly markets and rural festivals. The following activities are available nearby (approx 15 minutes by car) swimming, golf, tennis, walking, horse riding and mountain biking.

In Crevant and Pouligny Saint Martin you can get a 4 course meal including wine, water and coffee for approx 13 euros where many of the locals also eat and drink.
