This charming detached gite is set in the heart of the rolling French countryside with stunning views south, with its own private above ground swimming pool and roof top terrace ideal for young families or couples to play, relax with nearby beaches/lakes.

Our rural home gives a choice of rest or play, private swimming pool all other activities within 30 minutes

The quite little hamlet of La Boutellerie is situated 4.5km north from the rural village of Aigurande.

The property consists of a fully functional open plan kitchen lounge, gas cooker, combined fridge freezer, tea, and coffee making facilities, bathroom with bath and separate shower, toilet (WC). Upstairs consists of 1 twin bedroom with walk through into main double room with king size bed, French doors opening onto roof top terrace. Out side patio area with BBQ and furniture for dining and lounging with amazing views south over rolling country side and access to above ground swimming pool.

If you wish to unwind then this is the place for you, in the deepest country side you can sit peacefully reading or go walking, cycling or swimming - the option is yours.

A fully functional open plan kitchen lounge with gas oven and hob, combined fridge freezer, tea and coffee making facilities, do not forget to bring your tea bags as the French ones are not quite the same. Most of the eating will of course be done outside, and cooking with BBQ when the sun is shining. Large open space garden private swimming pool, Aigurande is in the southernmost part of both Indre department and the Centre region bordering on the Creuse department the most northern of the Limousin region this is "The Centre of France". The area is full of beautiful ancient monuments and man-made attractions.

The Indre is one of the forgotten areas of France, being one of the most rural departments. It is part of the Berry Region where traditions are well kept and the area is well preserved it is at the extremities of the Loire Valley. Gite du La Boutellerie is only 5km from the Limousin border.

Gite du La Boutellerie is a rural locations and is great for walking cycling or just unwinding.

Aigurande host the start of stage 8 of the Tour de France on 9th July 2011 (Aigurande > Super-Besse Sancy). After finishing stage 7 the night before in Chateauroux.

Short term breaks outside the main summer period start at 50€ per week day 65€ weekend Minimum stay 3 nights.
A refundable breakages deposit of €200 is required and will be returned in full within 14 days subject to a satisfactory inspection and the property being left in a reasonably clean condition.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking for each week booked. Final balance and refundable breakages deposit of €200 due six weeks before holiday start date.
