The lounge is approximately 30 m/sq with a cream three piece suite, the sofa of which is a metal action double sofa bed. There is a Television with a digital box and a DVD/CD/video player or if you prefer your own playlists there is also an iPod docking system on the bookcase, which also houses a selection of children’s DVD and videos and an assortment of books and games. New for 2011 we have added a Nintendo "Wii" for plenty of family fun.

There is an open doorway into the dining kitchen. This is a lovely entertaining room with a fully equipped kitchen including range cooker,family sized fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, bread maker and food processor. Designed with entertaining in mind the positioning of the sink ensures that whoever is preparing the evening meal doesn’t miss out on any interesting conversations. The dining room table comfortably seats 8 and two highchairs are available if required.
An attractive feature in the dining area is the original cold room which now houses a front loading washing machine and various cleaning materials, ironing board and iron.

Upon ascending the spiral staircase you will find three bedrooms. There is a master bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and dressing table with hair dryer, also an en suite with toilet, sink and heated towel rail. A nursing chair is provided as is a cot if required and with this bedroom being approximately 30m/sq there is plenty of room for both mother and baby to relax.

The other two bedrooms are generous in proportion, one of which has two single divans which can be made up as a double if required, whilst the other bedroom has two 3 foot wide single beds.

The family bathroom has a full size bath with thermostatic shower over. The chrysanthemum shower head gives a lovely shower. A large heated towel rail and plenty of floor space enables parents to comfortably deal with bath times.

The beds are made up with good quality bedlinen and soft, fluffy towels will be waiting for you. Everything here for toddler and baby. (Including plug socket covers, stairgate, sterliser, baby listener, pram, baby bath and lots more!)

La Roseraie was new for the 2010 season and NEW for 2011 we have added a "Wii" for plenty of family fun, together with access to our brand new Art and photographic studio.

La Roseraie” provides an excellent base for your stay in the area, with Saumur, Chinon, Fontevraud, Tours and Poitiers between 15 minutes and 1 hours drive, plus Richelieu is only a 15 minute cycle ride or 40 minute walk through beautiful and quite country lanes (5 minutes by car) Famous for its chateaux and vinyards, the region is perfect for your holiday. Stunning medival towns and villages, beautiful rivers and lively daily markets together with a tailor made cycle route through vineyards and alongside the rivers make it clear to see why the French refer to this area as "The Garden of France"

Built by Cardinal Richelieu in the 17th Century, Richelieu is a walled market town with large open park.

Richelieu has a market on Mondays and Fridays throughout the year selling delicious seasonal produce and the 1000 acre park is free to enter and beautiful any time of the year. There are tennis courts adjoining the park, as well as cycle hire within. In July each year Richelieu Park is host to Horse Racing which is a favourite amongst visitors and locals. There are also various muscial concerts, events and Brocantes throughout the year.

Richelieu has a good supply of restaurants and cafes, to suit all tastes. There are two supermarkets both open on Sunday mornings throughout the summer.

Many of the farms sell their produce directly and these include, asparagus, melons, tomatoes, strawberries, honey and local cheese.
