Nestling in the heart of the Loire Valley lies the peace and tranquillity of La Rue Vaslin - a small and exclusive arrangement of just three one bedroom gites and an adjoining three bedroom house with each offering a private garden as well as lovely communal grounds and superb 12 x 6m heated pool with large south facing sun terrace.
L'Ecurie itself is a beautiful one bedroom gite that is immaculately presented and extremely well furnished, providing superb accommodation in one of the most sought after regions of France.
Ideal for couples, or up to four people with the use of a sofa bed, L'Ecurie is an ideal base to tour the many vineyards, chateaux and pretty river side villages for which the Loire Valley is famed.
It is located just 2km from the villages of Gizeaux and Parcay les Pins, both of which are within walking/cycling distance (bikes provided) and which have several shops, bars and restaurants. A little further are the market towns of Noyant and Bourgeil with the fashionable Chateaux town of Saumur on the banks of the River Loire a 30 minute drive - as is the cosmopolitan city of Tours with its Cathedral amongst the many fabulous sights.
Well equipped for today's essential living, L'Ecurie features UK satellite TV with the latest LCD technology, a DVD player, and CD Hi-Fi. It also has the benefit of a laundry room and its twin aspect allows entrance from both the front and rear of the property.
It is suitable for wheelchair access and for children over 12 years.

A superb gite, pool and gardens. We have stayed in several gites in France, but so far this is the best!

Lovely sunny, clear blue sky morning for our last day of our first visit to the area – which won’t be the last, nor will it be our only visit to La Rue Vaslin. L’Ecurie is a lovely, clean, comfortable and gentle place to stay, wonderful gardens and facilities.
Had an excellent week and the accommodation was one of the best we have stayed in over many years of visiting France.
We can’t fault the gite, nice pool and grounds making it very private for each family. Local forest excellent for walking and biking.

A very beautiful area and a peaceful place to rest. The gite and swimming pool are perfect … the gardens are lovely and we spent a lot of time relaxing on the sun loungers in our garden. This gite has everything.
We have had a superb week at ‘La Rue Vaslin’. The gite was excellent and far better than any we have been to so far in France. All in all a brilliant week and we look forward to coming back to this area of France again.

Located in the heart of the Loire Valley is plenty to do during your stay at L'Ecurie - both at La Rue Vaslin itself and nearby where the many vineyards, chateaux, and river side villages provide as much a feast for eye as the local restaurants do the stomach!
Woodland walks and cycle routes are all accessed on foot or by bike from La Rue Vaslin and there are some superb golf courses nearby too being as suitable for the novice golfer as for the more experienced.
Kayaking is also possible by arrangement with some of the local boating clubs in Saumur and La Fleche (each being about 35km away).

L'Ecurie at La Rue Vaslin is very well equipped and has the latest LCD flat screen TV and UK satellite as well as a DVD and CD Player. Books and games are also available for your entertainment and outside bikes and table tennis are available for your enjoyment.
While linen is included in your rental price, we can also arrange for our local maintenance agents to carry out interim and/or departure cleans as well as a change of linen.
Please note that pool towels are not included in the price but can be hired for £5 per person.
