There is a gravel courtyard at the front of the property which can easily accommodate three cars with room for two more on a gravelled area outside the gates, which are lockable for the safety of children.
At the back of the house is the totally private rear garden with a large tiled terrace running the full length of the house which is perfect for those evenings of Alfresco dining. The Gas BBQ is supplied with bottle along with the usual garden furniture including sun beds. There is a lovely oak in the garden for those wanting a little shade from the heat of the day, the front of the house is also in the shade in the afternoon.
The Private Pool is 5mtrs x 3mtrs x1.1mtrs, this is not a plunge pool. It is designed as a stand alone for the safety of young children following a customer survey. The external ladder can also be removed when not in use.There is also a basic fresh water shower and swings for the children.
Inside:
The Kitchen is a balance of the and the new. The stone walls contain a fully fitted and equipped kitchen inc: gas hob and oven, fridge freezer, dish washer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster etc. Through the window in the courtyard are quaint old outbuildings that have been there for centuries.
The Dining Room has many original features and boasts an 8 seater large country table and chairs on lovely old tiles and a stone fireplace for those who visit in the cooler months, whilst just a few steps through the patio doors takes you onto the outside terrace & pool.
The beautifully beamed lounge area is a wonderfully cool retreat in the hot summer months. Set in the thick stone walls and tiled floors we have supplied Free to view TV, DVD and a Music Centre. There is also a good supply of books and jig-saws. There is a telephone and cards can be bought from the Tabac in village to use this phone.
The large modern family bathroom is fitted with a corner bath with shower attachment, twin sinks and heated towel-rail. There is also a separate double shower cubicle in the bathroom. We provide a hair dryer too.
There is a separate WC & laundry room next door.
There are a total of 4 double sized bedrooms, three featuring beamed ceilings. Three are doubles and one a twin. (A spacious double room with king size bed has been created on the ground floor). This is ideal for those with a baby or those finding stairs difficult to negotiate. There is an extra TV screen in this room for children that want to bring their games consoles.
There is also an extremely comfortable sofa bed in the lounge should you require extra space. Please bring linen if you think you may need to use this feature.
The village has a small playground for children, basket ball & tennis courts and a village pool for the July & August period.

The beautiful combination of countryside, the picturesque towns and villages, the wine growing areas of the Loire and the fabulous city of Tours are just a few things to do in the area. Thre is fantastic fishing, great golf and kayaking on many of the beautiful rivers.
Not far away are Beauval Zoo, Giants of the Sky at Chauvigny, Monkey Valley and many more. There is a race course & Casino near by in the Spa town of La Roche Posay.
A major attraction for families is Furturoscope which is well worth a visit with light shows at night too!
There are numerous chateaux for you to explore for yourselves and all the info is in the house for you to read or perhaps just relax by the pool.
The Music & Theatrical festival throughout July in Le Grand Pressigny is very popular along with all the other events throughout the summer in the surrounding villages, with fantastic firework displays to finish of the evening.
