Vacation Rental Description
My cottage has been recently (2005)upgraded from one of the "dependances" of the Chateau de Mt Fèlix, and was originally built in the 1840's from local tufa stone. We have an ideal southerly exposure.
The ground floor consists of an entrance hall with toilet tucked under the staircase. The main room has been divided into a comfortable fully-equiped kitchen and a living/dining room with a pullout sofabed. In the winter a wood burning stove supplements the under floor central heating.
A full bathroom above the entry has a tub/shower,sink as well as a toilet.
Two adjoining bedrooms complete the first floor. Adjustable roof windows with darkening shades supplement a small wooden balcony in the master bedroom. The beds can be adjusted from two singles to two double beds (180X190) and 160X200).

The Touraine boasts of the finest architectural displays of all France! There are beautiful Chateaux everywhere within easy driving! Chennonceau, Amboise, Azay-le-Rideau, Chambord, Langeais, and many many more!
Within an hour's drive is "Futuroscope",as well as wild animal parks, museums, caverns, ancient churches, prehistoric sites, classified villages and towns, music festivals and of course lots of wineries and gastronomic delights!

Property is within walking of Indre river and village of St Jean. The enclosed garden has an outdoor dining alcove, a wood burning pizza oven, bar-b-que, hammock swing, deck chairs. The medieval town of Loches is four KM where many restaurants, and shops and regional tourist info bureau can be found.
Numerous hiking trails within the Forêt de Loches as well as quaint nearby villages.

Cottage Rental Rates

Low Season Price : €400
High Season Price : €500 per Week


Early/late season €400 a week
July/August €500 a week
Occupancy by more than four people will incur a €50 per person additional charge.
Booking can be effected by a 50% deposit. Payments can be by PAYPAL, or direct bank transfer.

An refundable excess cleaning and breakage security deposit of €150 is required upon arrival!
While weekly rentals are usual, a discount will be given for longer periods.
