Come and visit Le Chaiseau, our 100 acre estate with its 30 acre private lake. Take in all the pleasures of the French countryside - enjoy walking our miles of private woodland paths, fishing for carp, bream or roach in the lake or bird watching in our unspoiled meadows. Alternatively, you can just relax in beautiful rural surroundings. You need never leave the grounds if all you require is a tranquil country holiday
We holidayed in this area for twenty years before deciding to make our home here. As resident hosts, our aim is to share with our guests the beauty and tranquility that we have found, and ensure that they enjoy a memorable holiday that will make them wish to return again and again as we did.
With the help and skills of local artisan builders we have completely renovated the original beamed farmhouse and stables to a very high specification. This provides four gîtes, accommodating between two and 10 people in each. They are furnished to a high standard and all the appliances, utensils, crockery, cutlery and other facilities necessary for a comfortable holiday will be provided.

Larger supermarkets can be found in La Roche Posay and Ligueil which are only a 15-minute drive away. For the full shopping experience, Tours and Poitiers offer all you could possibly desire.

As a base for exploration, Le Chaiseau is very strategically located - the famous Châteaux of the Loire are only a short drive away. If you have more modern tastes, Futuroscope at Poitiers is well worth a visit. For those who crave the sight and smell of the sea, La Rochelle and the Atlantic coast are well within reach of a day trip. The local area also provides attractions in the beautiful towns of La Roche Posay, Angle sur l’Anglin and the historic (and prehistoric) charms of Le Grand Pressigny and Preuilly sur Claise. The nearest towns are Le Petit Pressigny and Preuilly sur Claise.
