'Petit Manoir' is an elegant yet comfortable Maison bourgoise which offers ideal accommodation for a small adult or family group to enjoy spacious, relaxing surroundings. It is perfectly located near to Nuits St Georges and the legendary Burgundy Wine Trail . Built in the 17th century by the local Count, the main rooms have feature high ceilings with oak beams and a great feeling of light from the tall twin aspect windows . The 2000 square metre gardens are walled, south -facing and secluded with many places to sit and sunbathe, read and relax. There is an outdoor pool area with a terrace and a barbecue area for al fresco evenings. If you prefer eating out there is an outstanding choice of restaurants of high quality and reasonable price within a short drive. Located at just a few minutes from exit 1 on the A31 we are at the centre of an autoroute hub which means that you can plan a great programme of visits yet minimize the time spent travelling.

We prefer to leave the swimming pool terrace unfenced so cannot recommend the house for younger children .
The property has three separate sleeping areas :
1. Ground floor twin room with adjacent shower room
2. First floor twin room with ensuite bathroom
3. First floor suite with ensuite bathroom ( single room and triple with single and double beds)
The house is used as a family home and so is equipped with many extras not found in normal holiday lets.In general we try to find a balance between 'olde world' charm and modern convenience.

The property is perfectly positioned just a few kilometers from Exit No1 on the A31 autoroute . The drive from Paris or the north is therefore very comfortable . While the main attraction is clearly the winefield villages and the Route de Grands Crus it is also very accessible to the south ( Lyons 90mins/ Geneva 2hours/ Chammonix-Mont Blanc 3 hours ) . Also the Jura mountains and Switzerland are an hour to the east across the Bresse plain
