Vacation Rental Description
The Château, which has been acquired by the present owner, went under a complete renovation in 2007-2008 to bring it to modern standards, while keeping the original Château atmosphere. Beautifully decorated and furnished with 18th century paintings and furniture, the Château is suitable for sophisticated wine and art lovers who want to find a typical French Château to spend some valuable vacation time while visiting the Burgundy region.
Château des Barrigards is conveniently located in the heart of Burgundy between Beaune, renowned for its wineries, and Dijon, the administrative capital of Burgundy. It stands half a mile from the “Route des Grands Crus,” along which all the most famous wineries, such as Romanée-Conti, Clos de Vougeot etc., have been established.
