Ty Louisette is a luxury Gite situated in the small hamlet of Kergouet, ten minutes drive from the historic town of Pontivy in the centre of Brittany. There are direct routes from the ports of St.Malo and Roscoff and the airports at Rennes, Dinard and Lorient.

We have been awarded 3 stars by the Prefecture de Vannes and les Office de Tourisme de Morbihan. Ty Louisette is one of only two gites to achieve this classification in the region of Pontivy.

Large private enclosed garden and wooden terrace at the rear with parasol, click-and-go gas BBQ, double swing set and slide for kids

Parking for three cars

The Gite is a one minute walk from the Nantes-Brest Canal with long scenic towpaths and locks to explore. Fishing is possible with a permit. The Gite owners are nearby if anything is needed.

The sitting room has a modern wood burning stove and fuel can be provided. TV in the sitting room receives Freeview English language and French language channels. Second TV in the kitchen has French channels. Bedlinen and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels. A range of books and games is provided in French and English. There is even a dictionary if you'd like to brush up your language skills. An excellent leisure pool is to be found in the town of Loudeac about 20 minutes drive and closer by there is an outdoor pool in Pontivy which is open throughout the summer. Terraces front and rear of the property allow you to eat al fresco in sun or shade as you choose and there is double swing and slide in the garden for the kids.

The Nantes Brest canal is just on the doorstep and its towpaths allow you to walk or cycle for miles whilst enjoying the local wildlife. Fishing is allowed with a permit.
The huge freshwater Lac de Guerledan is nearby with beach and restaurants and you can hire pedalos and kayaks here.
Pontivy has a good indoor ten pin bowling facility open every afternoon and evening for those odd days when the sun is not shining.

Prices are quoted in Euros and we accept bookings worldwide by credit or debit card via PayPal (you are not required to have a PayPal account) at current exchange rates.
A 30% deposit to be paid at time of booking by credit/debit card or cheque (subject to 30€ surcharge). The balance is to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. Following the receipt of the balance payment we will send you confirmation of your booking by letter or email. We reserve the right to retain the deposit if you cancel your stay within 8 weeks of your arrival date. In the very unlikely event we have to cancel your booking you will receive a full refund of any monies paid. We strongly advise you to ensure you have adequate travel and health insurance cover for your holiday.
