the house is next to the Quenecan forest, 3000 hectares to explore! The Lac de Guerledan is one of Brittany's largest lakes, providing many watersport facilities, and well sign posted walks around the lake, and in the neaighbouring forest. The lake has small sandy beaches and restaurants with stunning views. The Nantes Brest canal (300+km!) is perfect for walking, fishing and cycle rides.. all within 5 minutes of the house. The Golfe du Rimaison is 25 km away.. the golf course has 8 holes at present. At Mur de Bretagne horse riding facilities are available, and the cycle track chemin du petit train is 134km long, also passes through Mur.. The main coastal beaches are an hour away. The north coast (pink granite rocks and emerald green sea!) is very different from the south coast (many bays and small isles off the gulf du Morbihan).. whichever you choose they are about 1 hour from the property.
