close to golf course of Rimaison,

in the region of the Blavet Valley, walks along the river, varied bird life, abundance of good restaurants and creperies to eat in,

In the summer months almost every weekend you'll find a Breton festival, normally a cheap meal served outdoors, lots of good wine, dance the very traditonal breton dances,

In the chapel's around the countryside you'll find displays of Art work, with varied styles and ideas

At the begining of August we have the 10 days Celtique Festival in Lorient, again a spectacular array of different music and costumes

CULTURAL VISITS, in the chapels in the summer months there are art exhibitions, local artist exhibit their art plus the tour around the small villages is amazeing,

LOCAL FETES are a very good place to enjoy being with the local french , a good simple meal outdoors, wine, music and dancing, some in local Breton costume, sometimes going on into the small hours

LONG WALKS in the local area, you'll be amazed by the birdlife, the tranquility of the breton countryside,

CYCLE along the Blavet tow path, stopping off at one of the many bars for refreshment, no cars to worry about,

MARKETS play a large part in french life, fresh food and vegetables, freshly caught fish, well worth a visit, always lots of local interest

each house has its own fully fitted kitchens and bathrooms (I rent the houses independantly if so wished out of main season) In main season the rental is exclusive, not shared,

for enjoyment in the garden there are sun loungers, outdoor tables and chairs, BBQ,

boules pitch, ping pong table, swings, lots of room to play ball games in

the swimming pool is solar heated, it has a walled surround so is completely safe for younger children in the garden,

for the less active, there are books, various games, TV for videos only in the main house, Satellite TV in the cottage

Each house will be fitted out with freshly laundered bed linen with two towels per person

KITCHEN , ie tea towels, oil, salt, pepper, spices and herbs, tea, coffee, sugar plus a welcome pack usually a gift of locally produced goods and a bottle of wine to get you into the holiday spirit
