Restored character farmhouse with large garden in quiet rural village
Vacation Rental Description
Notre Maison dates back some 200 years and was a shell wwhen we found it some 16 years ago. We restored it and tried to retain some of its original charm such as the beams in the lounge and first floor bedrooms and the archway which the hay wagons used to pass through. It now has the comfort of gas central heating and double-glazing whihc allows us to use it throughout the year. The garden surrounds the house, extending to over half an acre and is mainly lawn. To the front, about 30 paces is a quiet road into the village. You can easily walk to the village shop and bar. There is ample parking for 3 cars on the gravel drive.
Down stairs is a large farmhouse type kitchen where you can enjoy family meals around the large pine table. The kitchen is fully equipped,with electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave.
The adjacent utility room contains a washing machine and separate downstairs toilet.
The downstairs lounge has a granite fireplace with wood burner, comfortable sofas and chairs, digital satellite TV providing BBC1, 2, and free to view channels and a music centre.
On the first floor there is a large master bedroom with an ensuite shower room, and two other double bedrooms one with 2 single beds and the other with a double bed. There is also another shower room. Both shower rooms are fitted with washbasins and toilet
The top floor is split into two parts. One area has a large lounge which has a leather suite and football table. The other room here has a double bed and en suite bathroom.
A cot, stair gate and high chair are provided.

Have recently added WiFi internet access.
Activities
Notre Maison is set in a small village about 6 miles from the river side town of Pontivy. Behind the house is the village park with childrens play area, exercise route (never got round it yet!) and boule pit. There is a slightly overgrown tennis court in the village. You can walk in the country side directly from the house, or a short drive takes you to the banks of the river Blavet and other lovely country side. The beaches of Carnac and the Gulf of morbihan are about 35 mins drive away.

1. We will hold the booking for 7 days after your telephone or E mail reservation. 2.The booking is confirmed on receipt of a booking form and a deposit of 25% of the total rental. The balance is payable six weeks prior to arrival. 3. A refundable breakage deposit of £100 per is required prior to arrival. Cost of damage, breakages and failure to clean the property will be explained and reasonable charges deducted from the deposit. Deposits will be repaid at the conclusion of the holiday. 5. The property will only be available from 4pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. We ask that you do not arrive before 4pm as it may cause delay in ensuring the properties are made ready to the required standard. 6. The size of the party should not exceed the number laid down in the property details, except by prior arrangement.
