views of countryside and good walking routes; cycles available for hire locally and kayaking facilities available in pont scorff; salmon fishing in season; local beaches are plentiful for swimming, sailing, sand castle construction, etc. 
good shopping facilities within 5 minutes of site and super markets within 20 minutes in lorient.  
Pont scorff zoo a big tourist attraction within walking distance of site.  
10 day festival of music, dance, attractions in early august in lorient.
