Set in a little hamlet close to the chateau town of Josselin and the bustling town of Ploermel, this delightful five bedroom farmhouse offers a peaceful retreat for holidays in Southern Brittany. The local area provides numerous walks, safe cycling and water sports for the whole family.  
This stone built house offers comfortable open plan living with oak beams and an open fire for the winter months. The modern fitted kitchen with a french feel is fully equipped for all of your needs with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, microwave, oven and hob with extractor fan. The ground floor also has a bedroom, bathroom and separate WC.  
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms(1 en-suite)and two further twin rooms. A shower room and separate WC. 
There is a supply of logs for the fire and gas central heating if required.  
The whole property is light and airy with spectactular views over the Breton countryside.

    • There is a supply of DVD's and videos. plus a collection of paperbacks which you are welcome to enjoy during your stay. For those with little ones, there is a cot highchair and stairgates. Outside is plenty of garden funiture including a hammock for those lazy days and BBQ for alfresco dining.

    • There is a designated cycle track 2 minutes away with 52 km of safe cycling for all the family running from Mauron in the north passing through La Bois de la Roche and finshing in the historic market town of Questembert in the south. The largest lake in Brittany is only 10 minutes from the property where you will find a wide variety of water sports, man made beech which has a safe bathing area and a watet toboggan for the little ones.  
    For those who need a little retail therapy, the beautiful historic city of Rennes and the millionaires marina town of Vannes are both a short drive away. The nearest suupermarket is 5 minutes drive and caters for your every need. In addition to this there is a very nice bread lady who visits the hamlet three times a week.

    We normally book Friday to Friday to make full use of the cheaper ferries. However, out of peak season we will try to accomodate any other day subject to approval of our caretaker. A deposit of £100 per week is required on booking and full settlement is due 4 weeks before arrival. We ask for a security deposit of £100 which will be refunded after the caretakers inspection.
