Les Moineaux is an attractive stone longere and cottage situated in a small rural hamlet and near to a working farm. There is off road parking and natural garden areas. The hamlet of Treveran is 1km from the historic town of Josselin in the Morbihan region of France. Josselin is famous for its magnificent castle and medieval architecture.

The property consists of a longere and cottage in an L shape set in its own grounds of approx 1 acre. The property is south facing and has a garden sitting area at the front to enjoy the early sun. There is a large patio and several grassy areas.

The longere has four bedrooms, two doubles and two large family rooms, with three of the bedrooms ensuite. The downstairs of the longere has been thoughtfully renovated to cater for people with mobility problems and has a bedroom with level access shower. There is also the option of including a spacious stone cottage which sleeps four with one double and one twin bedroom. The entire property easily sleeps 12 plus extra beds for children if required. An ideal property for gatherings of friends and family as well as couples in a tranquil but not isolated location. The downstairs of the longere has been renovated to cater for a party member with mobility problems.

Josselin is an histotical town of character situated on the Nantes Brest Canal. From this central location it is possible to enjoy the varied attractions the region has to offer. Josselin is famous for its magnificant chateau situated by the canal and beautiful town centre with medieval 17th century timber framed buildings. The Saturday morning market brings the otherwise sleepy town to life and there are many open air cafes and restaurants. A climb up the bell tower of the Basilica will afford you a view of the whole town and surrounding area. Situated inland in the Morbihan region where the roads are quiet for exploring the countryside and neighbouring towns but still within easy reach of Carnac and Quiberron for fantastic beaches.

Activities
There are plenty of walks in the area and many guests have found it ideally situated for long cycling routes. The river/canal has a towpath and the nearby Lac du Duc has man made beaches, golf and walking. Both have water activities and there is a boat hire in Josselin for a day on the canal.

There are many towns of historic interest and interesting outdoor markets. The tourist information has current details of the many festivals, activities and market days. For horse riders there are several options depending on ability.

There are several beautiful beaches within easy driving distance including carnac with it's ancient standing stones.
