brittany, morbihan, la grée penvins Just at the point where the rocky landscape of the wet coast of Brittany takes on a flatter coastal shape with long sandy beaches, you will find La Grée Penvins. Sarzeau is the nearest lager town and this is around 6 km away. The buildings have a maximum of two floors and are usually just one storey with a converted attic. People come from all over Europe to holiday in La Grée Penvins, but the majority are French.
It is a peaceful resort, even during the high season.
the beach
From the sandy beach, through the dunes, you have only 300 m to walk to your holiday home. This is a protected area, so no further development is allowed. The beach stretches for about 6 km to the west, so if you want to be alone, you can easily find a secluded spot by just strolling for 100 m or so (see photo above). La Grée Penvins lies on the Rhuys Peninsula, with the Gulf of Morbihan to the north. Walk the 300 m towards the beach, climb the dunes and the Atlantic opens up before you. The beach gently slops down into the sea, making it suitable for swimmers and non-swimmers alike.

During the high season fresh bread is available in La Grée Penvins and also at the "Bar de Rhuys", about 1.5 km away. You can do a larger shop in Sarzeau at one of the several supermarkets or at the weekly market.

About 900 m away from the property, by the chapel, there is a carpark where, during the summer, surf, sail and waterski schools are situated. If you want to bring along your own boat, you can moore it here.
the holiday home, a detached property with 72 m² of living space, this house was built in 1992 and is set in 1200 m² of its own grounds. There is a sea view from one of the first floor bedrooms. Appliances in the house include fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave and 2 satellite TVs.

Payment Within 7 days after pre- reservation- date (your request of reservation by phone or letter) has to be payed a pre-payment at a value of 30% of the rent. We must delete otherwise your reservation. The payment of the remaining rent is to be made without being asked, 6 weeks before travel start. After receipt of this payment and the bail you receive your travel documents and the key-code from us. If the reservation takes place within 6 weeks before travel start, then the entire rent is to be paid at one time.
