Our two cottages only 5 mins away from Guemene sur Scorff is one of the most attractive towns in the region,it is situated in the heart of beautiful wooded countryside and this relative inaccessibility has saved it from too much redevelopment over the past forty or fifty years. In the Middle Ages Guemene was an important strategic site with a large castle guarding the western edge of the domains of the Dukes of Rohan, The situation of the cottages means that they are in easy reach of historic towns, villages and the southern Brittany coastline, which you can get to in aprox 45 mins. Locally you can go on many walks across country, along river banks, or only a short distance away take a stroll along the River Blavet,The cottages have been renovated up to a high standard, but still in keeping with a rustic theme and maintaining comfort, having a fondness for pets ourselves you are welcome to bring well behaved pets to join you, you will be assured a warm welcome on your arrival. 
 
 
DETAILS FOR Belle Vue: (Sleeps up to 6) 
 
Belle Vue earnt its name from its attractive arched end window and patio doors leading out on to its own private area of landscaped gardens. You will be assured a warm welcome and a relaxing atmosphere in which to unwind; the tranquility of the bird song may occasionally be interrupted by the sound of a cork popping or the splashing of the children (or adults) in our above ground pool, Belle Vue facilities include one double bedroom & mezannine gallery with sofa bed, a well equipped kitchen with microwave, dining area with pine table and chairs, ground floor shower room, a comfortable dual aspect lounge with patio doors leading on to the garden, all the garden furniture is on site as well as a selection of bicycles and outdoor games, the above ground pool is shared with Bon Repos and is equipped with water toys, you can take an easy stroll in to Guemene taking about 30 mins through the woods and down tracks or if you prefer use a bike then take some cold refreshment in the town.

    • Southern Brittany beaches and coastline can be calm and sandy as are Lamore Plage, Guidel; Fort Bloque, other coast lines can be very rugged and wild; both are within easy reach, between 45_60 mins by car, a little longer to get to Carnac, which ever you choice you can be sure to come across a good eatery, many of the larger town are good for exploring, Josslin, for its history, then only 20mins away you have Lac Guerladan with a choice of water sports and pedalos .
