KERDAVID FARMHOUSE - Beamed ceilings, stone walls and a gentle French Rustique ambiance… sleeps 10… has an in-ground heated pool, original wooden beams, chestnut floors and exposed stone walls! Using many French artisans, the renovation of the entire house,to the highest quality was completed in Oct 2008. KerDavid is located in wonderful Southern Brittany, close to cycle paths, glorious sandy beaches, megaliths, golfing and sailing in the Bay of Morbihan. This coastal area has as many sunshine days as Toulouse per year!
All linens provided, except beach towels, as well as a Welcome Basket of local cheeses, wine and baguettes and a cleaning service on your departure! The house is equipped with internet, TV, DVD and lots of games & books.
THE 5 BEDROOMS: Combining romance and comfort, the bedrooms are furnished with French Rustique style antiques. There are 2 double-bed rooms and then 3 bedrooms with matching singles that could be combined to make doubles.
THE 4 BATHROOMS: There are 3 bathrooms in addition to a separate singe toilet. All 3 bathrooms and the separate toilet have been completely renovated with environmentally sensitive, water-saving equipment
THE LAY OUT: The open-plan kitchen and dining and living room offers a wonderful space for quality family time, while retaining the essential character of the place. Radiant heaters control your comfort room-by-room and the exterior walls, ceiling and loft have all been insulated.
THE GARDEN & POOL: The garden is 1500 sq m with a beautiful covered 4.5 x 9 m in-ground, heated pool, a large lawn and 3 outdoor patios. There is a single car garage, unrestricted access to the house and a shed for the BBQ, 2 mountain Bikes and all the pool furniture.
For those folks who are real ‘foodies’ and just love to sample the local cuisine AND cook up a storm the local way, Brittany is a must. Closeness to the ocean also ensures that wonderful restaurants can offer world-famous Brittany seafood!

The in-ground pool is heated, pool furniture is provided, a BBQ is available and 2 bikes are provided to cycle to the local villages for early morning baguettes!

THINGS TO DO: Warm, sandy beaches are in easy reach at Quiberon - great for surfing and windsurfing. The Bay of Morbihan has some of Europe's best sailing. The Blavet River cycle paths endless river paths, passing local bars along the way for wonderful value canal-side lunches.
Visit the megaliths at Carnac or take a short drive to the medieval city of Josselin.

The ancient harbour of St Goustan with its waterfront restaurants and shopping is a must and the nearby cathedral town of St Anne de Auray, is still visited by the Pope.

The Saturday market at Vannes, about 30 minutes away is famous in the area for its traditional local food, fish/shellfish, cheeses, clothes and crafts.

Golfing in Brittany is Europe's best kept secret! The quality and variety of the courses, combined with their reasonable rates, are not to be missed! A number of golf courses are within easy reach, Golf de St Laurent in Carnac has hosted the French PGA .
