Then see what is to be found in, and around, this fascinating place. If your choice is sport then here you will find sailing, windsurfing, tennis and many more sporting activities. Or if you are looking for the kind of ‘get away from it all’ type of break then what could be better than miles of sandy beaches and long walks along the cliff tops. The historians among you will appreciate the museums, including the famous Maison Internationale des Poètes et des Ecrivains which can be seen from our apartment. The gastronomes are not left out ether with many excellent restaurants offering varieties of fresh seafood and succulent fish meals and of course the famous Brittany galettes.

    • Very close to the beaches, it’s a great pleasure to take a morning stroll along the Plage du Sillon . Within walking distance you will find all of the local shops: the Baker, a fish monger, a butchers shop and a small supermarket. There are also many souvenir and clothing shops. Why not stop for a cup of coffee on one of the many terraces in the main square, place Chateaubriant. Feeling hungry? There are many crèperies and restaurants for all the tastes and purses. Take a look at the Marina, where one can see all kinds of boats, cruisers and ocean going ships. Fancy an excursion? There are daily trips to the Chanel islands, Jersey and Guernsey, more information at the tourist office. Practical access to the train station SNCF-St-Malo. Paris is only two hours away.
