Maison Verte is located at the end of a country lane in a hamlet of 3 properties that make up La Basse Lande.
Originally part of a Farm, the Longere of which the gite is part has recently been renovated to a very high standard.
This is an ideal location from which to explore Normandy and Brittany. You are within easy reach of the Normandy beaches, Pegasus Bridge, the Bayeaux Tapastry, Le Mont St Michel (the second most visited tourist attraction in France after the Eiffel Tower) and the medieval town of Fougeres with its historic Chateau and Belfry. There are safe beaches within easy reach at Carolles Plage and on the St Malo Peninsula. Restaurants abound to suit all tastes. If you love seafood you will love dining out in this area. The capitol of Brittany is Rennes which is just 40 minutes down the motorway.
The gite has all the amenities that you would expect. It has satellite TV, DVD and CD players. On the ground floor there is a lounge / diner, fully fitted kitchen including full size cooker, washing machine, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and electric kettle. There is also a shower room with toilet and handbasin.
On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with twin single beds and one with bunkbeds. There is also a large shower room with toilet and handbasin.
All linen andd Towels are included at no extra charge.
The garden is especially safe for young children. It is equipped with Patio table and chairs, sun loungers, a childrens swing and a Barbeque.
As a special service, so that after a hard days travelling you don't have to think about preparing food. We offer an 3 course evening meal with wine to be ready for you when you arrive on your first day. (bookable in advance, 20 euros a head per adult)
