"La Ferme de la Baie" is perfect for activity holidays, short breaks and long weekends. We can organise sporting and leisure holidays to suit both your personal requirements and your budget - or just come and do a bit of sightseeing in this unique corner of northern France...

Your hosts - Henry & Ruth - live in a special corner of north-eastern Brittany, close to the Normandy border. Situated just a few miles away from the coast and with wonderful views of Mont-St-Michel, "La Ferme de la Baie" is ideally located for fun-filled family holidays, interesting activity breaks and relaxing, leisurely weekends & mid-week stays. The bed and breakfast is in the farmhouse, the heart of which is at least 300 years old.

There are four bedrooms and a guest sitting room.

Bedroom 1 is furnished with twin beds. Bedroom 2 is furnished with a double bed. These two rooms share a bathroom and are only ever let to one group.

Framboise has a king-size beds and has room for a cot or extra bed. There is an en-suite with shower, wash basin and toilet.

Chocolat is furnished with a huge double bed and has a sofa bed. This room also has an en-suite. There are ceiling or floor-standing fans in all of the bedrooms.

Evening meals are available all year round. Let us know when you book if you would like to eat chez nous.


La Ferme de la Baie" has two acres of lovely gardens and grounds. Each of the three cottages has its own enclosed garden areas - the rest of the grounds are shared. Hammocks, swings and a slide have been provided and there is plenty of wide open space to play ball games alongside the cottages. A paddling pool and a sandpit can be made available on request.

A covered hangar in the grounds is a great place to have a barbecue and dine alfresco. Guests are also welcome to sample ripe fruit and nuts from our numerous fruit trees, which include cherry, peach, plum and walnut trees.

Adjacent to the main play area is a field where we keep a small flock of sheep and some hens. From time to time we have pigs at the far end of the field. They are very entertaining and enjoy eating leftovers!!

Sample menus include: A sample 4-course dinner menu €22 for adults / €17 for children Salad of Prawns and Melon Porc avec Pruneaux d’Agen Cheese Pot au Citron with soft fruits served with half a bottle of wine followed by Tea or Coffee 2 and 3 course dinners also available. A typical light supper €10 for adults / €8 for children Onion Tart with salad followed by Chocolate Cheesecake
