Rest Huella is set in an enviable position in a wooded river valley, even the locals envy our position! We are on the 1st lock gates on the Brest to Nantes canal and one can see the sails of the boats gliding by through the trees. 
We have the old original farmhouse dating from 1731, which sleeps 8+ and a lovely south facing cottage which sleeps 6+. Our cottage is in the same grounds and we are there to help, but not to be obtrusive! 
We have extensive gardens, terraces, small orchard and lots of private places to sit out and admire the lovely views.Barbecues, garden furniture,sun loungers are all provided. 
The properties are very well equipped and comfortable. Rest Huella farmhouse has 4 large bedrooms, one with walk in shower and washbasin, another with washbasin. There is a bathroom, with shower over and ususal facilities. Lounge with French windows for views and electric log effect fire in original old fireplace. Large kitchen with all facilities and woodburner. L'Ecurie Cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6+, open plan lounge with efficient glass fronted woodburner, steps up to kitchen with french windows opening out to courtyard. Chrome and leather chairs and table are placed in front of these french windows.

All properties are comfortable and fully equipped.

The local riding stables are just down the road from us and offer tuition, or hacks across the fields and along the canal towpaths etc. 
Fishing is river or sea and is free our side of the lock gates. 
Rambling and walking is popular here because of it's beautiful countryside. 
Cycling is safe and scenic routes run alongside the canals and woods.

Preliminary reservations by email or by telephone. On booking a 25% deposit will be required. The balance required no later than 1 month prior to arrival. Cancellations will only be refunded if able to be rebooked.
