This is not an average holiday rental property. Our elegant, well equipped house offers unique & original period features. Relax in the comfortable lounge which is well furnished with a mixture of antique & modern furniture.

There is a traditional wood burning stove or thermostatically controlled electric heaters to give you that cosy feel in the winter months.

The price is inclusive of bed linen, towels, normal end of stay clean & fire logs.

The thick granite walls keep the house cool in the summer & warm in the winter. All rooms are heated with wood burning stoves and/or thermostatically controlled radiators. The 2 double bedrooms have ceiling fans.The other 2 bedrooms are twins There is satellite TV, radio, WiFi internet access DVD and CD player with a selection of CD`s, DVD`s, books & games. Hairdryer,bed linen & towels (not beach) provided. The oak beams, wood burning stove, free standing kitchen units, butler sink and oak farmhouse table, mix with modern oven & ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave & coffee maker. The kitchen is well equipped with all cooking & dining utensils. If you like original beams & roof timbers and exposed stone walls coupled with comfortable antique furniture, then you will love the bedrooms. A very quiet & restful enclosed garden including Boules piste (boules provided), original bread oven which is used as a BBQ.

Trebedan is a small quiet village surrounded by fields, woods & lakes. In the village there is a church and also a cafe bar which doubles as a convenience store, selling fresh bread,cakes etc. They also cook meals which can be collected from the cafe on a Saturday evening. You can also buy a fishing pass if you wish to fish in the local lakes. In nearby villages there is a choice of restaurants including La Blanche Hermine in Plelan Le Petit (8 minutes drive). Here you can experience fine dining at a reasonable price. There is also a good pizza restaurant in Trelivan (5 minutes drive). In the local area there are many other villages offering boulangeries, pharmacies etc. Large supermarkets can be found in Dinan where there is also a large weekly market. In order to get the most out of the area, we suggest that having a car is important. Either bring your own or hire one in France.

Rent is payable in Pounds Sterling by cheque or by Paypal On confirmation of your booking there is a non-refundable deposit payable of 25% of the total rental cost. The balance is due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday (we will send you an invoice). A damage deposit of £200 is to be paid by cheque with your final balance. On departure the house must be left in a reasonable state. Although normal cleaning at the end of your stay is included in the price, we reserve the right to make a retention from the security deposit to cover any additional cleaning costs incurred if the house or garden is left in an unacceptable condition, or if there are any breakages or damage. The damage deposit will be returned to you (minus any deductions) 2 weeks after your departure.
