“Christian and Christiana made their Bed and Breakfast feel like a home away from home. Everything was taken care of with the utmost class and style. Truly amazing. I have recommended them to many others. I will definitely visit again.”

“Both Christiana and Christian are extremely good hosts, and offer an amazingly rich program that goes well beyond what one would normally find even in the best B & B's. They've gone out of their way to make your stay in their very special place truly an experience you'll never forget.”
Scott D. Cole

“Our stay at La Prévenchère was the highlight of our trip. Christiana was a reliable correspondent prior to our arrival, a delightful hostess, and provided great insights on must-do activites and culture. The inn is very comfortable with a relaxed atmoshpere. It is also a convenient central location for Brittany day trips while being away from hectic tourist areas.”

You will feel right at home at La Prévenchère, a beautiful 19th century home. We are within easy reach of the North and South coasts of Brittany, as well as being a friendly base in which to relax, breathe some fresh air and forget the pressures of modern life. St Caradec is between Loudéac and Mûr de Bretagne and the peaceful atmosphere is perfectly suited to the beautiful countryside of the Côtes d’Armor. We are close to many traditional Breton villages, churches and medieval abbeys, as well as to the Nantes-Brest canal and the Guerlédan lake, to mention only a few.
As you approach St Caradec from the East, the unusual church steeple rises in the distance to welcome you to the village. (There is an 18th century painting of Christ’s burial in the church that is quite rare). Next you pass by the town’s pond with its lovely well kept gardens; a perfect spot for walks.
La Prévenchère has six beautifully appointed double rooms or family suites with views over neighbouring gardens and the countryside and of the recently redesigned St Caradec main square. Children are always welcome. Christian and Christiana Caille will greet you with great pleasure and offer you a cup of tea or coffee on arrival or if you prefer, a 'bolée' of delicious Breton cider.
Each room is individually decorated. Breakfast includes coffee, tea and fruit juice, croissants, pastries and home made jams.

There is much to do, see and visit here. We know the area well and will be happy to recommend local restaurants (the best scallops in the world come from St Brieuc) and to advise and help on anything you need to know. And if you enjoy cooking, Chef Caille proposes private culinary instruction tailored to your wishes. You can also participate, as did British chefs James Martin of “Saturday Kitchen” and Laurence Keogh, executive chef at Roast in London, in traditional French breadmaking at the Moulin de Guette ès Lièvres.
