The property has double glazing, good insulation and efficient panel radiators throughout.
Situated in rural tranquility with enclosed grounds overlooking ancient moorland near Plemet a thriving small town with restaurants, supermarket, bars, individual shops and a lake with children's play area in the surrounding park. The central Breton 'crossroads' town of Loudeac is just 10 minutes drive away giving direct access to the major routes crossing the region making any destination easily accessible for guests wishing to explore other parts of Brittany and within easy travelling distance of ports and airports.
The area is ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird-watchers, anyone with an interest in nature or those seeking somewhere to relax and recharge and let the pressures of modern, urban life seep away. For guests wanting a tourng base, the stunning north coast beaches, international standard golf courses, fascinating medieval market towns and inland lakes with a variety of water sports are just 30 to 40 minutes drive.
The accommodation has an open plan living area, with efficient woodburner, sofas, stocked bookcase, CD player and television receiving UK and french free to air channels. There is a large dining suite next to french doors opening onto a level terraced area which leads to the BBQ deck. The kitchen has a range cooker with 5 ring gas hob and double electric oven, a full size dish washer and an extensive range of cooking equipment.
There is one ground floor bedroom with zip-link beds can be configured as either 2 singles or a king-size double, the downstairs shower room is directly opposite this room. Upstairs are 2 further bedrooms including another with zip-link beds, and a fantastic dual aspect master bedroom with a super-king-size four poster bed, both the upstairs bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms, the master suite also having a bath.
Outside: the house backs onto a very rarely used minor road, there is parking to the side of the property leading round to the front (south-west) face of the house, where the entrance and french doors are located. A level gravelled terrace leads to a lawned area and a very large deck with light, power, and a sotne built BBQ base. Beyond the lawn is an enclosed paddock edged by apple trees, which is shared by guests at Le Petit Camus next door.

There are many marked walking and cycling routes around Plemet and its neighbouring communes, whilst the proximity of the River Lie also makes it a focal point for Anglers.
Just 2km up-river kayaks and all terrain bikes can be hired and there are stables with ponies for hire in nearby Loudeac Forest.
A wide variety of options are available for eating out, including traditional creperies, auberges, excellent seafood restaurants, relaxed bistros, a medieval themed eatery or formal award winning gourmet restaurants.
Many of the surrounding towns have markets selling fresh farm produce and local craft goods; there are also numerous antique markets throughout the year.
Nearby Moncontour, Dinan and the chateaux at Josselin, Cap Frehel and St Malo are sightseeing musts.
There is an indoor pool complex at Loudeac with flumes and whirlpool as well as a full sized swimming pool; in summer nearby La Cheze features an open-air lido.

Le Camus is an hours drive from the ferry port at St Malo, less than 2 hours from Roscoff and around 3 hours from Caen and Cherbourg, making this an easy to reach destination from the western chanel ports.
