Vacation Rental Description

Moncontour is one of a small group of historic towns in Brittany with the title 'petite cite de charactere'.

The house has a lovely stone balcony with far reaching views. The accommodation is spacious and has a large garden with mature trees and swings. All amenities are just a few minutes walk from the house, including Spar supermarket,  bars, restaurants, boulangeries, butcher, banks, costume museum, tourist information, summer festivals.

There is a very nice public indoor pool (2 mins walk from house).   Only 20 minutes (approx 25-30 km to beautiful seaside resorts and harbour towns). The large University town of St Brieuc is also 20 minutes drive with a Saturday market and ice skating rink.  There is a wooded circular walk suitable for all ages, long distance walks and mountain bike trails.  There is a municipal campsite next to the swimming pool where you might wish to meet up with friends and family.

Activities near Moncontour

Hiking, Restaurant, Shopping

There is a modern, family public swimming pool, very close to the house. All beach facilities 20 minutes drive away. There is a small ice skating rink at St Briec, the capital town of the area, also a 20 minute drive. There are lots of walks for all ages.

There is a wood burning stove in the living room. Garden chairs and table to eat out on the stone balcony where there are lovely view of the garden and valley beyond.

Low Season Price : £300
High Season Price : £350 per Week
There is a deposit payable of £100 on booking.There is a supplement for the use of bed linen, which goes towards cleaning costs.  This is 20euros.  Towels are not included.There is also a supplement for pets of 20euros.
