La Cachette is situated approx. one mile from the main road and the nearest bar restaurant.
The medieval town Guingamp,which is quiet sizeable,is just about five miles away,has a leisure centre, and a giant supermarketcalled Carrefour, many interesting shops and a market twice weekly.
Close at hand there beautiful walks and a barbecue spot by the river.
Going north, the coast can be easily reached by car in 30mins. It offers a variety of locations for swimming,walking,boating and many other activities.
There are off shore islands to explore and golf can be found at Perros-Guirec,which also boasts of a lively evenings entertainment in the season.
The most interesting villages are there to explore and you can find a market in progress somewhere practically every day of the week.
The local people are very friendly and helpful and quit a few understand a speak a little English. However!They love you to speak to them in French,which of course can be fun.

HOW TO GET TO BRITTANY.
Brest and Dinard Airport both about 100km from the cottage ansd serviced by Ryanair and Flybe. ( You do need a car)
Brittany Ferries: Portsmouth to St.Malo (110km),Cherbourg(294km),and Caen(265km).
Brittany Ferreis: Plymouth to Roscoff(80km).Poole to Cherbourg(294km).
Condor Ferries; Poole to St.Malo(110km)

In La Cachette on the first floor there are two large bedrooms,one with a double and single bed and the other with three single beds.It will be necessary to take your own sheets and pillowcases.Duvets,pillows and blankets are provided.(Hairdryer) Bathroom also on the first floor,with,bath,over the bath shower,toilet and wash basin. You will need to take your own towels. On the ground floor large kitchen/lounge,with fridge,washing machine gaz cooker,microwave, the water is heated by electricity. Three piece suite, dining table and chairs. TV only to play DVDs and Videos,Radio CD player.The house heating is a wood burning fire, logs are provided at the back of the cottage. Cutlery,crockery,glasswear and all cooking utensils will be available, including a kettle and toaster. Books,jigsaws and games a few DVDs and Videos are available for your pleasure.

There is a large garden all around the cottage,in the back garden there is a boule alley,swings,slide,climbing frame,barbecue large picnic tables and benches. In the hangar there is a dart board, you would need to take your own darts.

The Pink Granite Coast which is only a short drive away will delight you with its secluded bays.

The larger towns will provide the night life(even a casino)and a whole spectrum of cuisine.

There are many towns with with breathtaking architectural interest,and a local market can be found for exploring nearly everday. LANNION is a must.

The Isles Brehat is a must to visit and you can hire bikes to explore the island.

There is a childrens water park nearby.

Interesting Chateau's to visit, my favorite is La Roche Jagu,where you can enjoy a meal,then stroll through the tropical gardens.

You can also take a trip on a steam train from Pontrieux to Paimpol.

There is a fifty pound deposit per week required on confirmation of booking. Balance payable four weeks prior to departure.
