Our house is located in Biarritz, famous beach town known everywhere for surfing. 
You can find all the comfort you expect to. 
It's a very quiet place, almost five minutes by car to beaches, restaurants and center. 
Spain is also very near ( 15 minutes by car).So you can easily visit San sebastian,degustate delicious "tapas" and be back in Biarritz the same day. 
You have also 3 golf-courses near-by ( 5 minutes driving) if you want.
