Walking, cycling, skiing, historic golf course, riding, bird watching, fishing or relaxing and watching the natural world go by. Day trips to Lourdes, Spain, Ski resorts and Biarritz's beaches. Open plan cosy living area with central heating and wood burning fire, satellite TV, fully equiped kitchen , dishwasher, washing machine etc. One double and one twin bedroom and bathroom. Countryside setting, grounds of one acre - badmington, table tennis, barbeques and simply relaxing around the pool. Imagine summer BBQs watching the sun go down with a glass of local Jurancon wine and a swim under the Milky Way.
Located in a rural setting in the foothills of the Pyrenean mountains between the historic, cultural city of Pau and the local market town of Oloron Ste. Marie, there is a never ending range of activities to entertain you and your family at all times of the year. Spain is not far away, beaches, inland lakes and local rivers provide many secluded spots for swimming and picnics. Walking, climbing, white water rafting, fishing, skiing, golf, riding, caves and magnificant opportunities for watching eagles, vultures and red kites. The Pyrenean National Park offers unspoilt mountain scenery with wonderous fauna and flora. There are sophisticated restaurants in Pau and local Auberges in every village offering traditonal fare. Spring offers wonderful mountain flowers, summer, warm nights of BBQs and swimming, autumn shows amazing colours and light quality and in winter there is of course skiing and cosy nights around the wood burning stove.

Visitors are welcome. 5km from Pau towards Bayonne. The first course in continental Europe (1856). Flat wooded along the River Gave de Pau. 18 holes 5312 metres S.S.S. 69. Practice facilities including three practice holes. Green Fees: Low season : week 40 €, week end 45 €
