Home description  
Situated 2 kms from the pretty little bastide village of Casseneuil, 4 kms from Sainte Livrade and 10 kms from the market town of Villeneuve-sur-Lot, the house has a large, enclosed, tree filled garden with peaceful views of the River Lot and a quiet ambiance where you can relax and take life slowly.  
 
The house has a spacious open plan living room with a fireplace and a dining area, which opens onto a large covered terrace. There is a well equipped corner kitchen with refrigerator, oven and microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and toaster etc., and a small television room, which has a camp bed that can be used if necessary.

- Double room with a private bathroom with bath, which has windows leading onto the terrace  
- Another double bedroom with a bathroom with shower.  
- One bedroom with two single beds. 
- One bedrooms with two bunk beds which together can sleep four.

The house has electric central heating for the winter and logs.  
 
Outside  
An above ground pool overlooks the river and the terrace is equipped with enough garden furniture for 12 people, including table and chairs for outside eating, a barbecue and sun beds. You can laze in the hammock and even put up a tent in the garden if you wish.  
 
This is a peaceful and private place where you can relax in the sun or under a shady tree, where children can play on a bamboo climbing frame and where you can fish and potter about in the free to use rowboat.

Golf courses at Tombeboeuf and Castelnaud de Gratecambe 
 
- at 15 minutes, the Magic Cauldron, an angora goat farm: handmade sweaters, baby goats feeding, milking and making cheese and bread 
 
- The Lot-et-Garonne is a fruit growing region, lots of plums which are made into a variety of products (try the chocolate ones!)visit the pruneaux museum and sample everything 
 
- Abbaye des Automates at Clairac, see how the medieval life of the monks was once lived with animated characters and close by is a museum with trains, miniature cars and ... 
 
- visit the Foie Gras museum at Frespech, the lovely bastide towns of Penne d'Agenais, Monflanquin, which has a good market on Thursday mornings 
 
- 35 minutes P'arc en ciel with animals, adventure parc for all levels, plants ... There is a theme park, Walibi, in Agen. Castles of Bonaguil, Biron and Born are well worth seeing and the bastide town of Monpazier in the Dordogne has a colourful farmers market on Thursday mornings
