Vacation Rental Description
The cottage is part of a working organic vegetable farm near the village of Sainte Livrade sur Lot and is peacefully situated on the banks of the River Lot, which flows past the bottom of the garden. Originally the ancient plum drying oven, it has been extensively restored with lots of character and comfort.
The Cottage has a spacious open plan living/dining room with sofa and chairs, television, hi-fi, telephone, internet, books and games and a fully equipped corner kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric coffee pot and toaster. There are three bedrooms, one double, one twin and one with double bunk beds and a bathroom with shower and a washing machine. Central heating by floorheating is available for the winter months.
The living room opens onto a sunny terrace by the river, which has comfortable sunloungers. There is another shady terrace looking on to the garden and there are sunbeds and a barbecue.
There is also a private swimming pool. A pontoon and row boat for fishing can be used whenever you want.
We have a small animal park much loved by children and beautiful Frisian horses.
Space, relaxation, views, sunsets, barbecues, ... at the same time you are in the middle of all kinds of activities like visiting a goatfarm, survival parc for all ages, castles, bastides, festivals, markets, ...
