Lovely old manor house with private heated pool. The house which is extreemly well furnished sleeps 12 plus 2 infants in 6 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms. The kitchen is very large with Range cooker, fridge, microwave, washing machine, dryer, large island for communal food preparation, a great place to cook and entertain ,if you prefere there is also a large formal dining area seating uo to 12 people in the lounge. there is a large TV/library/rumpus room. the grounds are extensive with plenty of space for ball games and children to play or to simply sit under a tree and read a book.

11.5 x 5.5 privatd heated pool, surrounded by large sun terrace, equipped with an alarm to comply with French laws. Ther are tables and chairs for alfresco dining. a barbeque , sun loungers, parasols. Large enclosed courtyard with access from kitchen, lounge and TV rooms, table and chairs seats 12.

    • The house is approx 8km from Duras and 17km from Ste Foy la Grande and is easily accessible by either Bergerac or Bordeaux airports. Enjoy one of a wide choice of colourful weekly markets and a number of lively bars and restaurants. Visit Duras and its wonderful Chateau, dance at one of the evening farmers markets or simply watch the world go by whilst enjoying good wine and food locally. Don't forget historic Bergerac on the banks of the picturesque river Dordogne or St Emilion and Pomeral to savour their renowned red wines. The beach at Archachon is a possible day trip, visit the largest sand dune in Europe.

    For the golfers amongst you Chateau Vigiers golf course is about 20 minutes drive as is the golf course at Marmande. You will find lots of local information in the house upon arrival.

    Please telephone or e-mail for availability and I shall be happy to hold dates for you for 5 days. A 25% deposit is required upon booking with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of £600 is to be paid with the final balance. Deposit is fully refundable in cases of cancellation up to 12 weeks prior to arrival, after this time will only be refundable if we are able to re-let, less any discounts given for a late booking. Rentals are from 4pm Sat to 10am Sat Changeover day may be flexible outside July and August. The property is also available for rent on a daily basis at 600 Euros per night, 2 night minimum.
