2 Bedroom Mobile Home in Soustons

The m/h is situated on a beautiful 4star campsite in the s/w of France. The area is known as "The Landes" and is France's largest area of forest. There are cycle paths which take you to various places-you can cycle right to the beach all through the forest!Bike hire is available from the campsite in the summer season.There are plenty of footpaths too for those who prefer walking. On site there is a swimming pool which is open air in the summer,tennis courts,table tennis tables,kids club,cafe/restaurant,shop,etc.Opposite the site is a large lake with various sporting activities-wind surfing,miniature electric boats, canoes/kayaks etc.The town centre is 2kms away,but there are a couple of supermarkets closer by,as well as the small shop actually on site. The beach is 7kms away and the sand stretches as far as the eye can see! The waves are some of the best in Europe,but if you are not after wave excitement, the sea enters a canal which then opens up into a sea water lake with it's own beach surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Near the beach is a full sized golf course,as well as another lake surrounded by cafes and other activities. Further afield the Spanish border takes about 90mins by car and the Pyrenees are about the same. The area is well known for it's local festivals-a lot of which centre around bulls! There is the real bullfighting,but for those who don't like that, the "courses landaises" might be interesting. These involve cows (with horns) and the idea is to either dodge out of the way of the charging cow at the last minute or jump over it. Other activities include gorgeous monkey and lizard parks,horse riding,go karting,adventure parks in the trees and plenty of other things. The mobile home itself has 2 bedrooms-one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. For extra people the settee in the lounge makes up into a double bed and there is a bunk bed over the top of the twin beds. In the lounge is an L shaped settee,a table and 4 chairs,a breakfast bar and an occasional table. A television,DVD player and radio/cd player are also provided. There is also the kitchen area which is fully equipped with a gas hob,a microwave,toaster,coffee maker and kettle as well as all utensils. There is a shower room with separate toilet. The m/h is fully equipped with all linen,toiletteries etc. Outside, the terrace,which is partly shaded, has been enlarged and there is a table and 6 chairs. The site has fixed BBQ's-the nearest of which is just across the path from the mobile home. There is also parking outside for 1 car,with additional spaces elsewhere. If any help is needed I am english,but speak fluent french and live 30 minutes drive away. I would be more than willing to help in any respect at all. Animals are more than welcome, but must be fully vaccinated and must bring their relevant certificates with them. There is no charge for cleaning,which is done for you. Any special needs will be catered for to the best of my ability.
