Maison Coumets is a recently converted French farmhouse set in an acre of private land in the heart of the rural Landes countryside and yet only 15 minutes from the beach and Hossegor. Set in a small village with a fabulous Auberge restaurant a stones through away this traditional building has been decorated with modern touches while still leaving the original beams and features exposed. If you're looking for somewhere to unwind and relax away from it all, this is the perfect place.  
 
With a large newly fitted kitchen, dining area, lounge, 5 bedrooms, 1 en suite and 2 further shower rooms and a further fabulous lounging area this is perfect for two families or one large family. There is also the possibility of a further bedroom in the summer living room. Outside there is a huge courtyard, undercover games room and fenced swimming pool set in beautiful grounds (the photo of the swimming pool is prior to it being fenced). 
 
Maison Coumets is situated near a small village called Saubrigues, South-West France in the region of Landes, Aquitaine. It is just 40 minutes from Spain (the Pyrenees), 30 minutes north of Biarritz, 15 minutes from Hossegor. 
 
The nearest airport is Biarritz (20 min) which has daily flights from Stanstead with Ryanair but regular flights are also available to Pau (1 hr), Bilbao and Bordeaux (1.5 hr). Good value car hire is available from all the airports.

Ground Floor A state of the art new large kitchen, equipped with all modern appliances. A large L shaped living area with a ten seat dining area in one section leading through to a spacious living room with sofas, TV, DVD and stereo. In the adjoining area of the house there are: Five bedrooms (one en suite) Two shower rooms A beautiful second lounging area in this section leads straight out to the courtyard through 2 large French-doors. Outside The large courtyard, with a BBQ and dining area, includes a covered games room and summer living room. There is a decked pool (fence protected) set in an acre of lawned fence protected gardens.

Restaurants and Bars: All culinary tastes can be catered for in the local area. There are plenty of local restaurants, bars and cafes for you to sample. One of the regions finest restaurants and bars, Auberge D'Ugne, is only 150 m up the road from Maison Coumets and there is a wonderful pizzeria in Saubrigues (2km away).  
Beaches: The nearest beaches are a 15 minute drive away in Capbreton and Hossegor and are great for swimming and surfing.  
Golf: There are two 18 hole golf courses nearby of world class standard both open to non members. Golf Hotel De Seignosse www.golfseignosse.com and Golf Club d'Hossegor.  
Other activities available in the nearby area: Karting and Quad Biking, Paintballing, Adventure Trails, Horseriding, Fishing, Boat Hire and Jet Ski-ing, Kayaking, Walking and Cycling.

TERMS: Rates are based on 10 people staying. Bookings are Sunday 4pm to Sunday 10am. A deposit of 25% is payable within 3 days of booking to confirm and the balance 8 weeks before arrival. Refundable breakages deposit of £300 is also required. CANCELLATION: In the event of a cancellation, every effort will be made to re-let, but if this is not possible the management reserves the right to retain the deposit and to recover the balance due. CLEANING: Guests are responsible for keeping and leaving the property in a clean and tidy condition. An exit clean and linen change is obligatory at an additional charge of £100. For guests staying more than one week, a mid stay laundry change is also possible at an additional charge of £60. Please inform us upon booking.
