Spacious family house with heated pool and river edged garden.
Vacation Rental Description
The house is light and airy and set in an idyllic setting on the river L'Isle. With spacious rooms fitted out with easy to look after furnishings, an elegant dinning room and a fabulous covered terrace makes this an ideal location for a family holiday or reunion, with plenty of space its just the place to celebrate. The exceptional covered terrace, which runs the full length of house (20 meters) is ideal for outdoor living, BBQs and playing table tennis or just enjoying the view. A private walled salt water pool 10x5mts with a security gate is situated just off the terrace ,surrounded by decking and luscious planting .The garden goes down to the river's edge where two,2 man canoes are avaliable with life jackets so you can explore the river L'Isle in your own time.
We occupy an ajoining house and seperate garden and I am on hand should you require anything.
Between July and August changeover days Saturdays only.
Out of season changeover weekdays possiable .
Airports : Bordeaux and Bergerac 50km/75km
British airways, Ryan air, Flybe.
Rail travel : Coutras , local lines / Libourne local lines & TGV/ Bordeaux TGV from Paris.
Motoway: junction 11, St medard A89 3km .
summary of 2011.
We have had a great year, early spring was unusualy hot which was lovely after the long winter months , the summer, we have had better!a good mixture of hot sun and slighty cooler days, so something for everyone and now since september and october the weather has been glourius, cool/cold bright mornings then gradualy heating up to 24°C ! the leaves are changing colour and autum is apone us. Thank you to all my clients for a great year. Jo
Facilities
The rental rates include one bath towle and one hand towle per person.Pool towles not provided. Linen is provided and the beds are made ready for your arrival. If durring your stay you wish to have a change of linen there is an extra cost 10 euros per bed. Cleaning: can be arranged at a local rate of 13 euros an hour. An end of stay clean is charged at 80 Euros. Kids: The house is equiped with a wooden cot,travel cot , high chair, booster seats, baby rocker, changing mat and some toys. A large selection of books are at you disposal. table tennis , babminton and boule.

We ask for a 20% deposit at time of booking. Balance 8 weeks before arrival. A returnable Security cheque or cash of £800 From July and August change over is only on a saturday. Week day change overs can be aranged out side of those dates ,contact Jo .

thank you Jo for letting us stay in your wonderful house I enjoyed every single bit.I loved the fishing and the Boules, the pool and of course the table tennis!.I loved staying here for the pasr two weeks because of the garden, it was so fantastic!
I am really sad to leave because of the weather and going in the pool every day.

This was truly one of the highlights of our lives!
Here with all the family in beautiful peaceful surroundings and at our fingertips the best wine (and cheese) in the world! The house is a grand venue for a variety of excursions which are so nicely followed by a gay family get together in the evening on the spacious coverd terrace.

Our family of 14 (from Sweden and the United States) spent a week at this magnificent house - the photos on the web site do not do it justice! It was trully amazing- so comfortable and conveniently located to many wonderful attractions. On top of that, Jo was fantastic and helped us arrange some visits including one to a barrel maker which was a family favourite. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Marvellous summer days in Coutras.
Everyone immediately fell in love with this beautiful house and its fabulouse surroundings.The children said strightaway 'We're coming back next year!'
We enjoyed wonderfull relaxing days, as well as the lovingly and comfortably furnished house, the gardens offerd everyone of us the opportunity to be on our own once in a while.
We particularly remember with pleasure:
cooking together in the perfecttly fitted out kitchen, romantic evenings on the terrace by candlelight, delicious wine from the region, piano music by our children, refreshing ourselvees in the well maintained pool, trips by canoe on the L'isle and the beautiful and intresting excursions to bordeaux, Libourne, Bergerac, St Emillion and the Atlantic coast.....and naturally the loving care of Jo and her parents!
Many thanks....you have realy created a little paradise.... we shall come again with great pleasure!
