Vacation Rental Description


The house is set in a cul de sac made up of 25 houses. The houses have own gardens and share communual gardens and a communual swimming pool. The house itself has three twin bedded rooms. There is a bathroom with bath, shower and WC, a hallway with a large storage cupboard, a cloakroom with toilet. The kitchen is well equipped, fully fitted with dishwasher, washing machine, There is an oven and a 4 hob cooker, large fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. The living/dining room is open plan with doors to the terrace. Central heating throughout. There is cable TV, a DVD player and a CD music system and a BBQ with outdoor furniture.

The beds can be pushed together to make comfortable double beds. There is space for the travel cot in either bedroom. Two bedrooms have ample wardrobe space and the third bedroom has its own wardrobe on the landing. There are bedside cabinets and bedside lights provided. The rear bedroom has beautiful views on to the golf course and through the pine trees.

There is also a good sized garden which is lawned and fenced overlooking the golf course. The property is blessed with the morning sun on the front of the house and from midday, the back garden and terrace is in full sun until it sinks over the ocean in the west. There are lovely views over the golf course through the pine forest.

Activities near Lacanau Ocean

Adventure Sports, Beach, Biking, Boating, Childrens Playground, Cinema, Fishing, Golf, Horse Riding, Kayaking, Mountain Biking, Night Club, Restaurant, Sailing, Shopping, Tennis, WaterSkiing, Water Sports and Rental, Zoo/Wildlife Park

The house is set in beautiful pine forests, which have over 50 kms of cycle paths. Being quite flat, it is a pleasure to get around on bike. Traveling to the lake or the ocean en famille is very straight forward. There are plenty of bike houre shops which have trailers for the younger children. The tennis courts are less than a 1km from the house, surfing and kite surfing is big at the ocean. There are many hire shops for body boards as well as surf boards. There are several surf schools offering tuition. There is a sailing school at Lac Lacanau too.
On the lake, you can hire pedaloes, boats and canoes. The Etang, 5kms away has a series of paths which lead to a wildlife sanctuary for bird spotters. Just under an hours drive takes you to the wine regions for wine tasting and the beutiful vineyards around Bordeaux.

Low Season Price : £600
High Season Price : £1200 per Week
We require a 25% deposit to confirm your stay. 8 weeks prior to departure, the remaining balance is payable. We have booking conditions which explain our cancellation policy, which are sent out on confirmation of a booking.
