St.Leger de Vignague is a quiet hamlet 3km from Sauveterre de Guyenne, an historic bastide town in the heart of the Bordeaux wine region. Our houses stand in large grounds with activities for all the family including a 12x6m pool. Each house has a private barbecue area with its own access to the pool. The houses have been recently furnished and make an ideal base from which to explore the Gironde from the beaches in the west to the Lascaux caves in the east.

    • There is a lovely dedicated bicycle route to Bordeaux (55 kms) along the old railway track. The region has many Vinyards and winetasting can be fun! St Emilion and Sauternes are nearby. The beach is less than 2 hours drive to the west with the largest sand dune in Europe, the dune de Pyla, at Arcachon. To the east there are the the pre-historic caves with their paintings including Lascaux among others.
