La Rose and Jasmin are two beautifully restored houses which share the use of a large private pool; 
Each are equipped with two bedrooms,one double and one twin,both have two bathrooms. 
The ground floor provides a comfortable lounge and well equipped kitchen.They have large terraces with a bbq and garden furniture,both look towards the pool,but are well seperated to be private. 
The location is ideal for families with well maintained lawned gardens,it is very safe for young children. 
 
The English owners are on site to provide any additional information concerning activities and visits in the area.

The houses are located in a farming village where the early strawberries can be found ripening in the spring sunshine,fresh asparagus,melons,and all sorts of vegetables are available from the surrounding farms.The local markets,of which there are many are a pleasure to explore!Bicycles are available for rent on site ,the valley provides a flat area to explore with ease and the banks of the Garonne is ideal for picnics and a little fishing. On the edge of the valley is the canal "des Deux Mers" which connects the Atlantic with the Mediterranean,this has a new shady cycle path ,great for watching the boats go through the locks.Rick Stein made his film "French Odyssey"while cruising along this canal. 
 
This region has so much to offer the visitor,we are ideally located for visiting the many vineyards and chateaux of Sauternes,St Emilion,Pomeroland the Medoc.We have many contacts and can arrange visits and wine tastings.The city of Bordeaux has been completely renovated over the last ten years and now is an absolute gem to visit and is classified Unesco. 
 
A beautiful drive through the Landes forest will take you across to the Atlantic coast with its magnificent sand dunes ,the highest in Europe.The bassin de Arcachon provides a sophisticated holiday resort with sheltered beaches and fresh sea food.Close by is a fun water park for a great day of family entertainment,not to be missed if you have children!

La Rose was used as the owners home, the interior is decorated to a high standard incorporating the natural character of stone walls beamed ceilings and tiled floors .The furniture has been selected to intigrate a feeling of comfort and period style, combined with modern facilities. The double bedroom is light and airy with its own ensuite bathroom. The pretty twin has an adjacent bathroom with ,bath, shower toilet and bidet. The lounge has comfortable leather sofa and armchairs, character pine furniture ,flat screen TV with English programmes. WIFI. The kitchen has a large fireplace with wood burning stove , practical kitchen area with washing machine and gas cooker ,fridge freezer and microwave.

The exterior is the real gem to this location for families.The enclosed gardens provide lots of space for chidren in a safe environment .Large lawned gardens and a protected pool area ,swings and a badmington net enables the kids to exercise while the parent relax by the pool. Each house has a large terrace with its own BBQ. 
A great selection of bikes are available for a small rental ,the valley of the Garonne is ideal for leisurely cycling with the canal towpath close by for picnics ,fishing and watching the boats navigate. 
The region is diverse in agriculture with many local markets to be explored ,the house is surrounded by a kiwi plantation.  
The river Ciron is a wonderful canoeing trip and a great day out can be spent on the atlantic coast at Arcachon with its water park. Fresh oysters and mussels can be tasted direct from this section of coast.
