Vacation Rental Description
La Rose and Jasmin are two beautifully restored houses which share the use of a large private pool Each are equipped with two bedrooms,one double and the other a twin,both have two bathrooms
Each has a comfortable lounge and well equipped kitchen.
They have large terraces with bbq and garden furniture,both look towards the pool but are well seperated
to be private.
The location is ideal for families with large lawned gardens,it is very safe for young children.
English owners are on site to provide any additional information concerning activities and visits in the area.

The houses are located in a farming village where the early strawberries can be found ripening in the spring sunshine ,asparagus,melons and all sorts of vegetables are available fresh from the farms.The local markets,of which there are many are a pleasure to explore!Bicycles are available for rent on site,the valley of the Garonne provides a flat area to explore the banks of the river Garonne, ideal for picnics and a little fishing.On the edge of the valley is the Canal des deux Mers which connects the Atlantic with the Mediterranean,this has a new shady cycle path ,great for watching the boats go through the locks.Rick Stein made his film "French Odyssey" while cruising along this canal.
This region has so much to offer the visitor,we are ideally located for visiting the many vineyards and chateaux of Sauternes, St Emilion ,Pomerol and the Medoc.We have many contacts and can arrange visits and wine tastings.The city of Bordeaux has been completely renovated over the last ten years and now is an absolute gem to visit.
A beautiful drive through the Landes forest will take you across to the Atlantic coast with its magnificent sand dunes and long golden beaches.The bassin of Arcachon provides a beautiful holiday resort with sheltered beaches and fresh sea food.Close by is a fun water park for a great day of family entertainment,not to be missed !
The lovely river "Ciron" provides a wonderful shady canoeing outing,information and reservations can be provided by the owners,Pictures available on facebook!

The region of the Garonne valley is superb for cycling excursions.Close by is the canal du midi with its new cycle path,this provides a shady route where one can enjoy the slow passage of boats through the locks and the small ports with their friendly bars. Bicycles are available for rent on site at a low tarif.
The family have lived here for 25years working with tourisme are able to share all their knowledge and experience with people who come and stay.There are many possibilities for visits to wine producers and historic chateaux,the coast is a great day out with the beautiful beaches and lakes of the atlantic coast.Not forgetting the fun water park close to Arcachon.
The local markets are the heart of the french culture and this region produces some of the best fruit and vegetables which finds its way into the market fresh from the fields.Life is rich,slow and full of natural pleasures!

These two beautiful properties are located in quiet rural surroundings,they share a large pool and grassed area ideal for a safe family holiday.
The English owners are on site to ensure clients have a perfect holiday and are provided with all the information concerning this fascinating region.They have lived here since 1980 operating holiday cruise barges on the nearby canal du Midi
The houses provide top quality accomadation,situated in their own gardens with large shady terraces .This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the country pleasures.
If you are looking to explore the Bordeaux wine region this is the ideal location with St Emilion ,Sauternes,Graves and the Medoc within easy reach and city of Bordeaux less than an hours drive.
