Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. You have both been so welcoming and kind, (fantastic hosts).
The house is so peaceful ands superb for a group vacation. The advice portfolio was invaluable in getting the most out of our time here?
We love the animals, setting; the spa is a real treat. We are sad to b e leaving and hope to return ASAP.
Many thanks.

What a week! your cottage is perfect for a family vacation. We are Grandma, Grammpa, Mom and two girls 7 & 9. Natalie, the 7 year old spent most of the week talking to the animals. She and Sophie stood by the fence with the donkeys, sheep and goat for hours. Not to mention the guinea hens.
****** she gives you 6 stars out of five.
We covered lots of territory from St Emilion, Bordeaux, Margaux and the great beach at Lacanau.
And we all loved the pool and hot tub.
Bordeaux holiday
We have lived here, in the Bordeaux wine region since 1992 and have thus accrued an enormous amount of local knowledge about the region, it's history, the vineyards and restaurants.
As your holiday is one of the most important events of the year it is our philosophy to provide you with a high standard of accommodation and advice so that your holiday here is a memorable experience. This is born out by the high percentage of our guests who return again and again. Our approach is both professional and friendly. Our guests are invited for an aperitif (or two) on their first evening so that we can advise them on the many things to do & see in this beautiful region.
We are constantly upgrading the property and gardens and pay attention to the smallest details.
The grounds are a child's paradise with a pool, trampoline, animals and wildlife.
Our own house backs onto the same grounds, so although the guests' area is private, we are on hand for emergencies and are fluent in French. Emergencies include helping guests out if they run out of wine!
The property was originally a wine château and when we moved here in 1992 Chez Emilion was a barn. We replaced the roof and just about everything else except the centuries old stone walls. The ground floor suite walls are concave where the cows, who lived in this former stables, licked the saltpetre from the walls. Click here to see Renovation photos
We can also offer a wealth of information to anyone thinking of moving into the region.
